blue roses in her hair

blue roses in her hair
she wore them everywhere
at home or abroad
heart of perpetual laud
acutely aware she is flawed
don't even bother her with fraud
it takes so much for her to applaud
yet she goes out of her way to put you at ease, you'll be so pleased
she then retires to her favorite place hidden in the copse & blue roses
before the thumbed noses
not in want to appear rude
bidding you adieu
slipping out of view
