reach for the light

joyful times vaporize 

before our eyes 

into precious memory.

yet our darkest days 

pass as if we are lost 

in the abyss 

for eternity. 

all of it necessary, 

for the well-rounding of our whole. 

during the darkness, 

recall the joyous 

like a magic elixir 

reach for light.
