energies shifting,
sangrinous thoughts
abounding,
running wild
through humanity's mind
attempting to furrow
harmonious intentions
into a hardening ground.
Fear not though,
for mellifluous grace
born of ancestral vespers
laced in our hearts,
spoken aloud
kissing Divine...
our Shelter
during the storm.

As I near the one month mark posting one of my edited poems a day, I'm considering reducing my publishing schedule to a few times a week.
In light of this, I want to make the ones I publish for the last few days of January be good ones.
Good ones to me? I hope they are enjoyed.
Sometimes, a lot of times, when I write something I'm really happy with or speaks to me it falls flat out in the wild. Likewise, I've set some free that while I enjoyed the process of penning them and generating their visualization, readers seemed to enjoy them a lot more than I did. Do you ever experience this too with your writing? Just me? (Laughing)
'Survey Consciousness' and 'Survey Duality' (to be shared January 30th) are two poems I delighted in writing. With vss365 often times the prompt word fits splendidly in with the things running through my mind.
Sweet synchronicity!
These two poems are a couple of stand outs for me in this vein.
I shared a bit of how my world view is shaped by the way I see the world in terms of energy in my blog post: Internet of Things (It's all Energy).
Everything is energy. to me. I see cause and effect at play in so many ways in our current society all the way down to my personal life causing me to undergo a considerable amount of time of introspection and self examination. Taking inventory, out with the not useful or not helpful and honing my skill for deep listening putting my ear to the ground.
Let's think about consciousness for a minute. This is not expert opinion I'm about to share, only how I see consciousness and what crosses my mind when I think about the subject. I'll leave the official scientific theories to the great minds of science. This is a topic I enjoy reading about.
With consciousness, I see it as a whole and singular form. Where does it come from? Every world religion has their own thoughts on this, maybe it's any one's guess. But it's real, it's present, and it's what makes you, you and me, me. We each have our own piece of it for the life we live, either granted at birth or maybe according to some traditions our piece is the real us that incarnates with us in new modes of transportation (bodies) every time we are born again.
We, society, tend to see the world in terms of "other" and "them" not always with positive connotation either and in many cases rightfully so. Other times, maybe not rightfully so. Every one of us has a perspective and sometimes those views can be warped or twisted.
What we don't realize, is we are all parts of the whole and ultimately we are all connected.
We are one.
(a representation of what consciousness looks like and how it flows to human beings according to Grok.)
Leaving you with an article written by a professional on the topic of consciousness.
Thank you for reading this far while I wondered aloud.
