What a pleasant surprise I was gifted with in the middle of a hectic day, meeting this little praying mantis alight on my mailbox. The moment brokered a genuine smile during a time of stress caring for my father in law with dementia while working full time. Fortunately, I had my phone with me and captured the moment to remember forever. If we focus on staying attentive and savoring life's simple pleasures, the Universe will present us with little gifts like this when we need it the most.
