Tesseract Tea

Dear Child,
everything hums!
All in life has tonal resonance—
For example,
deep octaves like the depths of the ocean
Or high octaves as the trill of a hummingbird's wings.
Like two ends of a spectrum,
each strumming our senses.
There's more,
sweet child of mine!
So much more!
(Pours two cups of tea)
Let's have a cup,
I'll teach you further.

One lump or two, Dear?

(Words mine. Image created with starryai a collaborative process called synthography. Thanks for reading, this is one of my favorites. Fun write!)

This poem, though tagged with vss365 is actually part of a short story I'm writing.

I had been working on it at the time of the prompt (resonance) and decided to set it free in our vss365 community.

I find myself scrolling through my inventory of verse a lot to see if I have written anything appropriate for the days prompt, when I find I have, I share it for the prompt.

In the instance I haven't already written something that includes the day's prompt, I write something new.

So, my vss365 offerings are a mix of poetry I've already written and written specifically for the prompt word.

If you also write poetry and would like to engage with a supportive group of troubadours that will celebrate the love of poetry with you, dive into vss365 or any of the other prompt communities on X and join in!

No invite needed, just come on and bring your verse!

|The New Synthographers (gallery)

TL/DR : The Short Version: If photography is "capturing light," synthography is "distilling language." I feed my poetry into a digital "imagination camera" that translates my metaphors into patterns and pixels—turning the DNA of my writing into a visual landscape.  Synthography it is. In short, it means human and AI collaboration to create an image, video, or song.  More in depth from Google:   "Synthography is the emerging art form of creating images using artificial intelligence (AI) models, a process distinct from traditional photography (which captures light) or digital painting, where an artist uses prompts, parameters, and iterative refinement to generate visuals from text or other inputs, essentially "writing" or "drawing" with an "imagination camera".  It combines "synthetic" creation with "graphy" (writing/drawing) to describe the skill of crafting detailed prompts and tuning AI mo...
